تناولت هذه الدراسة الشاعر الهندي محمد إقبال سيرته ومصادر ثقافته. هدفت إلى
دراسة أثاره دراسةً مستقصيةً تعين على الكشف عن مصادر تلك الفلسفة الذاتية
التي سادت مظاهرها جملة مؤلفات الشاعر، وتجلت من خلال أشعاره بصورة
أكثر وضوحاً. وكل ذلك بعد تمهيد بالتعريف بحياة الشاعر التي ساعدت على
صبغ شخصيته بتلك الثقافة. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وقد خلصت
الدراسة إلى أن أبرز مصادر فلسفة الشاعر استمدها من بيئته الدينية التي نشأ
وسطها، وحفظه للقرآن وتلاوته له صباح مساء، ودراسته للعلوم الدينية ولللغتين
العربية والفارسية وآدابهما .
توصي بدراسة مدى تأثير رسالة الغفران وسفر الأفلاك على رسالة الخلود لمحمد
إقبال

Abstract
This study deals with the Indian poet Muhammad Iqbal his
biography and sources of culture . The study aimed to surveyhis
literary heritage, to reveal the sources of his own philosophical
visionthatmanifested throughout the poet's writings, andmore
clearly through his poems.This was preceded by a preface with
an introduction to the poet’s life, which influenced his
personality with that culture. The study followed the descriptive
analytical method. The study concluded that the most prominent
sources of the poet’s culture were derived from his religious environment in which he grew up, his memorization of the
Qur’an and his recitation to it morning and evening, and his
study of religious sciences and the sciences of the Arabic and
Persian languages and their literature.The study recommended
the study of the impact of the “Message of forgiveness”(Risalat
al-Ghufran) and “The Divine Comedy” on the “Message of
immortality” (Risalat al-Kholood) by Mohammed Igbal
